Dr. Terrance Hunter
DVM

Dr. Terrance Hunter is the visionary behind WAG Vet — Columbia’s newest go-to for modern, high-quality veterinary care that feels less like a chore and more like a vibe. Known for his calm confidence, expert knowledge, and just the right amount of swagger, Dr. Hunter brings a fresh, approachable energy to the world of pet care.
A lifelong animal lover (and an almost-Power Ranger), Dr. Hunter became a veterinarian to make a difference — not just in the lives of pets, but in the lives of the people who love them. His mission? To transform every vet visit into a positive, upbeat experience that feels personal, professional, and never too clinical.
With years of experience, standout communication skills, and a genuine love for both animals and people, Dr. Hunter is setting a new standard for what veterinary care can be. Whether he’s handling a routine checkup or solving a complex case, he leads with heart, clarity, and that signature WAG Vet charm.
When he’s not in the clinic, you can probably catch him at Orangetheory, scrolling the latest from Nike and Louis Vuitton, or sipping something iced at Starbucks — always on the move, always bringing the good energy.

Charlene Stafford
Client Service Representative
With 18 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Charlene believes that every great visit starts with a warm welcome. As one of WAG Vet’s Client Service Representatives, she’s often the first person pet parents meet, and she loves helping families feel comfortable, informed, and supported from the moment they walk through the door.
Charlene’s lifelong love for animals inspired her career in veterinary medicine. She finds purpose in strengthening the bond between pets and the people who love them, and over the years, the profession has helped her grow in patience, empathy, and compassion.
Her home is shared with an incredible crew of rescued cats, each with their own unique story and personality. From former strays to kittens who found their way into her heart, they’ve only deepened her passion for helping animals and the people who care for them.
When she’s not at WAG Vet, you’ll usually find Charlene reading, relaxing on her porch swing, or spending time with her cats. She’s also fascinated by UFOs—and yes, she has her own story about seeing something mysterious in the sky!
Charlene is proud to be part of the WAG Vet team, where every client is treated like family and every pet is cared for like one of our own.
Hannah Hopkins
Client Service Representative
Hannah has been part of the veterinary field for two years and brings a lifelong love of animals—especially cats—to the WAG Vet team. Growing up with a mom who is a veterinary technician, she was introduced to veterinary medicine early on by helping her study for school. That experience sparked Hannah’s interest in the profession and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a difference for pets and the people who love them.
As one of WAG Vet’s Customer Service Representatives, Hannah is often the first friendly face clients see when they visit. She enjoys welcoming pets and their families, answering questions, and helping everyone feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.
When she’s not at the clinic, Hannah’s home is filled with plenty of furry friends—including 20 cats and 2 dogs! Her favorite is Opal, a one-year-old cat she bottle-fed from birth, while Louis, her affectionate four-year-old tabby, happily traded street life for lap life. Many of Hannah’s cats started as TNR (trap-neuter-return) cats who decided they preferred the comforts of home.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Hannah loves crafting and dreams of one day opening a cat-themed store that provides education and resources for the community. She also holds a unique certification in personal property appraisal. And if you ever need someone to talk true crime with, Hannah is your person. She knows an impressively (and maybe slightly concerningly!) large amount about it.
Yenn Duarte
Veterinary Assistant
Yenn Duarte is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with two years of experience in both general practice and specialty medicine. Her veterinary career began in Virginia, where she gained hands-on experience in general practice and urgent care before joining the Internal Medicine team at South Carolina Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center. There, she has continued to expand her knowledge while helping care for patients with complex medical conditions.
Yenn’s passion for veterinary medicine comes from her lifelong love of animals and her desire to improve their quality of life. She enjoys the challenge of understanding what patients are communicating through their behavior and clinical signs and finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of the team that helps them heal. She especially enjoys assisting with surgical procedures and is committed to continually growing her skills.
At WAG Vet, Yenn supports the veterinary team by assisting with patient care, diagnostics, laboratory testing, radiographs, treatments, surgery preparation, and client education. She takes pride in helping every patient feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their visit.
Outside of work, Yenn enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, visiting the beach, trying new restaurants, and exploring zoos and aquariums. She shares her life with Marley, her sweet and playful 4-year-old Labrador mix, whom she has loved since helping care for her litter as a puppy. Yenn is currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician program and plans to continue her education with the goal of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). As a fun fact, she speaks four languages, a skill that helps her connect with people from many different backgrounds.
Kennedy Henry
Veterinary Assistant
Kennedy Henry is a Veterinary Assistant with four years of experience and a passion for making sure animals have someone in their corner. She’s worked in both small animal practice and large animal emergency medicine, giving her experience with patients of very different shapes and sizes.
At WAG Vet, Kennedy assists with patient care and handling, prepares patients and equipment, supports our veterinarians and technicians, and helps clients understand what’s happening with their pets. She’s especially passionate about compassionate care and building trust with both pets and their people.
Kennedy’s commitment to animals doesn’t stop when she clocks out. Her self-described “mini zoo” includes five dogs, two cats, a ferret, and a bearded dragon, all rescues and all with VERY distinct personalities. The crew ranges from Bane, a 14-year-old grumpy Pit Bull, to Neji, a Belgian Shepherd mix puppy currently in his very chompy era.
When she’s not surrounded by animals, Kennedy is a proud geek who loves Marvel, Transformers, anime, and pretty much every video game you can name. Bring up a favorite character, game, or show and there’s a very good chance you’ve found your next conversation.

Ashley Shinn
Veterinary Assistant
Ashley Shinn is one of the friendly faces helping keep tails wagging at WAG Vet. As a veterinary assistant, Ashley combines compassion, hands on care, and a calm, positive attitude to support both pets and their people through every visit. After starting her veterinary journey as a receptionist, she worked her way into the treatment area and officially became a veterinary assistant in 2024. With three years in veterinary medicine, she loves being able to advocate for animals and make a difference for pets who cannot speak for themselves.
At WAG Vet, Ashley helps clients understand treatment plans while assisting with blood draws, catheter placement, X rays, and patient care. She is passionate about creating a supportive, upbeat environment for both the team and the families who walk through the door. One of her proudest accomplishments is the journey she has taken within the field and how far she has grown professionally along the way.
Outside the clinic, Ashley spends her time hanging out with her two dogs, Shilo and Zena. Shilo is a 10 year old coonhound who lives for treats, cuddles, and wrestling with his little sister. Zena, a 5 year old shepherd mix, is Ashley’s constant shadow and professional lap warmer who loves chasing Shilo around the yard. When she is not caring for pets, Ashley enjoys horror movies, fantasy novels, gardening, exploring new hobbies, and listening to Stray Kids. And if you spend enough time around her, there is a very good chance she will randomly break into song mid conversation.
Aubrey Glantz
Veterinary Assistant
Aubrey Glantz is a Veterinary Assistant at WAG Vet with six years of hands-on experience working with animals across a variety of settings, including doggy daycare, pet sitting, and animal shelters. Her path into veterinary medicine started with a lifelong love of animals and a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. Over time, she discovered her true passion lies in working one-on-one with animals, building trust, and being directly involved in their care.
In her role at WAG Vet, Aubrey assists doctors during appointments, handles patients for procedures, and supports her teammates to ensure each visit runs smoothly. She takes pride in being a reliable, compassionate presence for both pets and their owners, and she continues to grow her skills and knowledge every day.
Aubrey considers her journey in veterinary medicine itself to be one of her greatest accomplishments. Watching herself rise to challenges, continue learning, and deepen her passion for the field has been incredibly rewarding.
At home, Aubrey shares her life with two very special dogs. Isabelle Hope, or Izzy, is a four-year-old Doberman mix who is deeply protective yet always ready to melt into affection. Aubrey adopted Izzy after she was left behind at a previous clinic, making their bond even more meaningful. Fat Louie, a three-year-old Staffy and bully mix, is her “foster fail” and soul dog, whom she has cared for since he was just two days old. He loves chasing balls just as much as he loves a good cuddle.
Outside of work, Aubrey enjoys staying active, trying new activities, reading, writing, and making memories with friends and family. She’s also known for her ability to make people laugh, bringing a sense of humor and lightness wherever she goes.
Taylor Klein
Hospital Manager
Taylor has spent more than 17 years in veterinary medicine, and if there’s a job in a veterinary hospital, there’s a good chance she’s done it. From kennels and reception to emergency medicine, urgent care, practice management, and patient care, her experience gives her a unique understanding of what it takes to create an exceptional experience for both pets and the people who love them.
As Hospital Manager at WAG Vet, Taylor helps lead the team while making sure every patient and client feels welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. She believes great veterinary medicine starts with great communication, a compassionate team, and creating a place where both clients and staff know they matter. Fear Free Certified and raised in veterinary medicine by a veterinary technician mom, Taylor has been surrounded by animal care for as long as she can remember. It’s more than a career. It’s simply who she is.
When she’s not keeping WAG running smoothly, Taylor is busy tending what Dr. Hunter affectionately calls “The Sanctuary,” a lively homestead filled with rescue cats, dogs, chickens named after famous female authors, turtles, hermit crabs, and aquariums full of fish, shrimp, and snails. She has a fascination with carnivorous plants and hopes to create her own South Carolina bog garden one day.
Taylor loves spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, gardening, and preparing for her next adventure in beekeeping. She also enjoys crafting, pumpkin carving, concerts, music festivals, traveling, and building intricate LEGO sets, especially those inspired by nature, Star Wars, and The Lord of the Rings.
Whether she’s supporting the team, solving problems behind the scenes, or celebrating a nervous puppy with a well deserved puppuccino, Taylor brings the same energy, curiosity, and heart to every part of WAG Vet. She’s one of the many reasons clients quickly realize they’re not just visiting a veterinary hospital. They’re joining a community that truly cares.
Cindy Van

Haley Cox
Veterinary Assistant
Haley Cox has worked in veterinary medicine for seven years, with experience primarily in small animal urgent care as well as wildlife and exotics. She is trained in all areas of the clinic but especially enjoys hands on patient care and assisting in surgery.
Haley was drawn to veterinary medicine by her love of problem solving and the challenge of helping patients who cannot tell us what is wrong. She finds joy in the small moments of appreciation from her patients and is passionate about continuing to learn and grow in order to provide the best care possible.
Her clinical skills include IV catheter placement, venipuncture, medication administration, and anesthesia monitoring. She is Fear Free certified and is currently working toward her veterinary technician license. Haley is also dedicated to supporting pet owners, ensuring they feel informed and confident in every decision.
At home, Haley cares for a lively group of pets with mythological names, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and a hedgehog, each with their own unique personality.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching Asian dramas, and visiting US National Parks, with a goal of exploring them all. She is also a devoted Twilight fan and embraces it wholeheartedly.
Logan Phillips
Hospital Manager
Logan Phillips is the heartbeat behind the scenes at WAG Vet — keeping things running smoothly so Dr. Hunter and the team can focus on delivering top-tier care with signature style and heart.
With a background in client experience and a deep love for both animals and people, Logan brings a rare mix of operational savvy and genuine compassion to the table. Before joining WAG Vet, she spent two years as a Client Experience Coordinator at a bustling day practice and urgent care facility, where she mastered the art of calm in chaos and the science of a smooth client journey.
Logan’s career in veterinary medicine is fueled by a lifelong love of animals and a passion for service. Her previous role in state service helped reunify families, save thousands in lease negotiations, and earned her the Outstanding Behavioral Science Student award upon graduating cum laude from Columbia College. (In short: she’s a powerhouse with a heart of gold.)
At WAG Vet, Logan handles the day-to-day operations with a calm confidence — ensuring that every appointment, interaction, and furry hello feels seamless and special. She’s the person making sure your experience is just as thoughtful as your pet’s care.
When she’s not managing the magic at the clinic, you’ll find her outdoors, planning a dream trip to Europe, dancing to her favorite playlist, or hanging out with her two rescue pups: Sunny, a talkative Beagle-Pit mix who loves a good squirrel chase, and Clydesdale, a brindle socialite who brings the party wherever she goes.
Fun fact: Logan once dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist in high school. These days, she’s drawing up something even cooler — a veterinary clinic that’s as vibrant, compassionate, and unforgettable as the pets (and people) it serves.
Jolon Jennings
Veterinary Assistant/CSR
With over 12 years in veterinary medicine — including high-intensity roles in emergency and ICU care — Jolon brings calm, confidence, and a deep well of expertise to every pet parent and patient who walks through our doors. She’s worked everywhere from the treatment floor to the surgery suite, and her hands-on skills are matched only by her passion for client care.
Jolon was drawn to veterinary medicine by a love of animals and a craving for excitement — and she found both. Whether she’s assisting in procedures, managing medications, or simply making sure your pet’s visit feels smooth and supported, she’s the steady presence you want on your side.
At home, Jolon keeps life interesting with Drake, her 13-year-old Yorkie-Poo with major main-character energy, and Nairobi, her 7-year-old tortie who’s equal parts sweet and sass. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her reading, gaming, or gardening — and yes, she probably has a book recommendation if you ask.
She’s been doing this long enough to handle anything, and she does it all with kindness, skill, and a warm smile.
Lexi Smith
Veterinary Assistant
Lexi brings five years of hands-on experience in general practice, exotic pet care, and shelter medicine. She’s known for her calm energy, love for learning, and a signature style that’s usually wrapped in pink. Whether she’s assisting in surgery or comforting a nervous pet parent, Lexi is the go-to teammate when things get busy and the first to make your pet feel safe and seen.
At WAG Vet, Lexi plays a key role in patient care and client communication. She assists with exams, monitors anesthesia, supports surgical prep and recovery, and helps pet parents feel confident in their at-home care. Her mission is to advocate for every animal, provide thoughtful education, and help each visit feel a little less stressful for everyone involved.
When she’s not at WAG, Lexi’s surrounded by a very full (and very fabulous) crew: Tucker and Tilly, her spoiled long-haired dachshunds; Dallas, her bossy blue-eyed ragdoll; Honey, the golden retriever who lives up to her name; and Maple, her soulful goldendoodle rescue. Lexi is especially passionate about preventive care, supporting shelter pets, and making veterinary medicine more accessible to all. Her favorite things? Animal rescue, surgical days, and absolutely anything pink.
Olivia Dodgins
Veterinary Assistant/CSR
Since 2019, Olivia has worked her way through nearly every corner of veterinary medicine—starting in kennels, moving up to reception, and eventually finding her stride as a veterinary assistant. At WAG Vet, she’s the ultimate team player, jumping in wherever she’s needed to keep the hospital running smoothly and pets feeling their best.
Her love for animals of all shapes and sizes is what drives her—whether she’s helping a nervous pet settle in or working toward her Fear Free certification to make every visit less stressful.
At home, Olivia’s life is just as full of personality as her workday. She shares her world with Kane, a 7-year-old lab mix with endless energy; five cats with larger-than-life names and personalities (Randy Orton, Rowdy Ronda Rousey, Riddle, Rhea Ripley); and two leopard geckos, Groot and Yondu.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll probably find Olivia watching wrestling, making music, or adding to her unique art collection—pieces made entirely from bugs (yes, really!).
Rachel Gonzales
Veterinary Technician Assistant
Say hey to Rachel — vet tech assistant, animal advocate, volleyball ace, and all-around good vibes bringer. Originally from sunny California, Rachel brings two years of hands-on veterinary experience (plus a whole lot of drive) to the WAG Vet crew. Before joining us, she interned at two busy vet hospitals, balancing biology classes by day and fur-baby cuddles by night.
Rachel’s path into vet med started early — inspired by The Incredible Dr. Pol and Dr. K’s Exotic Animal ER, she knew from a young age that animals were her people. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Zoology (go ahead, say it louder), she dove headfirst into the world of veterinary care with compassion, skill, and a calm presence pets can actually feel.
At WAG, Rachel assists with everything from anesthesia and surgery to dental care and client education — plus she’s a pro at safe, stress-free restraint and giving the best lovebug-level cuddles. She’s here to make sure every pet feels comfortable, every client feels heard, and every detail gets the attention it deserves.
Outside the clinic, you can catch Rachel swimming, tanning, or crushing it on the volleyball court. Her long-term goal? To become a veterinarian herself — and trust us, she’s well on her way.
She shares her home (and probably her couch) with Jag, her 2-year-old grey tabby and former college sidekick, who enjoys window-staring, nap-taking, and being the chillest cat in Columbia.

Kristin Miller, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kristin Miller is an Associate Veterinarian with 2.5 years of experience in companion animal medicine. She previously practiced at Well Pets Veterinary Clinic and After Hours Urgent Care, where she provided general practice, surgical, and urgent care services.
A lifelong animal lover inspired by her childhood cats, Dr. Miller has a special interest in feline medicine and emergency care. She is passionate about delivering thoughtful, individualized treatment and is committed to evidence-based medicine. Her dedication to feline health is reflected in her recent publication in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
At WAG Vet, Dr. Miller performs comprehensive physical exams, diagnoses and treats medical conditions, prescribes medications, and performs surgery—working closely with a collaborative veterinary team to provide exceptional care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Miller shares her home with three cats—Thor, Taiyo, and Asta—each with their own big personality. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, doodling, spending time with friends, watching anime, and adding to her ever-growing collection of favorite things.
Audrey Genade, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Audrey Genade is a Veterinarian at WAG Vet with a background in emergency medicine. She is passionate about helping animals while strengthening the bond between pets and their families. Whether she’s providing preventive care, performing surgery, or guiding pet owners through important healthcare decisions, Dr. Genade is committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care.
After graduating from veterinary school and passing the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), Dr. Genade began her career in emergency medicine before joining the WAG Vet team.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Genade enjoys gardening and restoring furniture. She shares her home with three dogs—Alfonso, Brooks, and Joan—as well as Maurice the cat, Sox the Persian kitten, and Rosie the pot-bellied pig.
Alfonso, her first dog, has a special story. Dr. Genade and her husband found him while living in Uganda and brought him home to the United States, where he has been a beloved member of their family ever since.
